Paddle Surf & Kayak — Terms & Conditions

By renting paddle surf boards, kayaks, or related equipment from Fischerslodge, you agree to the following terms.

Assumption of Risk

Paddling, kayaking, and other water activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to: drowning, capsizing, collision, hypothermia, and injury from weather conditions or lake traffic. By renting our equipment, you freely and voluntarily assume all such risks, both known and unknown.

Fitness & Ability

You confirm that you are in good physical health, have no medical condition that would make participation unsafe, and are a competent swimmer. You accept full responsibility for your own abilities and limitations.

Safety Rules

  • Wear a life jacket at all times while on the water
  • Stay within the designated swimming and activity area
  • Not use the equipment under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Follow all instructions given by Fischerslodge staff
  • Check weather conditions before going out and return immediately if conditions deteriorate

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Swiss law, you release, waive, and discharge Fischerslodge, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury (including death) that may occur while using the equipment, regardless of whether such loss or damage is caused by negligence.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fischerslodge from any loss, damage, or claim arising from your use of the equipment, including any damage to the equipment itself.

Equipment Condition

You have inspected the equipment and confirm it appears to be in good working condition. You will report any damage or defect immediately and will not use equipment that appears unsafe.

Minors

If renting on behalf of a minor (under 18), you accept full responsibility for their safety and compliance with these terms, and you confirm that you have the legal authority to bind them to this agreement.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland.
